I had one of the compacts in .40 S&W. For me the trigger and grip were much better than a Glock. I also liked the trapazoid sights, although I soon replaced them with AO express sights which I liked even better, although the original sights may have produced slightly better groups on paper the AO sights were very fast on target. I sold it about four years ago and have regretted it ever since. It functioned reliably with max loads or with lead bullets loaded down for indoor shooting at 700 fps. Glocks had problems with those light loads. I'm really a revolver guy but if I were again interested in an auto I'd again go for the Steyr compact.
