Looking for info and feed back regarding a 26" heavy barrel in 22-250 on a Encore frame. I already have the Encore frame and thinking about buying the barrel to make a Varmite rifle. Has anyone done this before? Or any pet 22-250 loads they may would like to share?

Mine likes a 55gr blitz king with 35gr of IMR4895. Shoots 1/2" on a good day. Use mine for prairie dogs out to about 400yds.  KN

:D My handload round is a Hornady case with a Hornady 52gr Match BTHP with 35.5 grains of AA2520 with a Fed. 210 primer. Flat shooting and a one holer.

Mine likes 55 gr. Nosler BTs and RL-15.  About 1/2" when I do my part, which is a bit less often these days than it used to be!

My 24" barrel really likes the Winchester 45 gr load in the white 40 rd box. I tried quite a few bullet and powder combos and was never completely satisfied with the groups. I was at Wally World one day and decided to buy a box. Now I have one less rifle I have to reload for. Sean
