mountain goats

what all does a person need to hunt mountain goat in the u.s. tags, licenses, guides ,any help will be greatly appreciated

Most states are draw tags, slim odds. Alaska might be the best odds and you do need a guide by law, IIRC. One of the cheaper hunts, but the best type of hunt in my experience. Only place I've hunted (guided) goats is Nevada, extremely low odds of drawing here.

so say i drew a tag for mountain goat in montana,got a licence and studied the legal areas a non resident could go. would that be all i needed to go into the hill after the goats or would i have to go through more legal stuff

You'd have to check the state regs, I think you can do it on your own in Montana. Odds probably are  better there for drawing.

there website is weird, the regs are all jumbled up and i couldnt find any thing on mountain goat
