prohunter forend

I just got a barrel from coyote guns.  I am trying to figure out which forend to use with the barrel.  I have one for a heavy taper TC barrel and it is to small.  I went to my gun shop and the 12 gauge forend fits perfectly but the screws are bigger on the shotgun barrels.  The guy at the gun shop thought that the katahdin forend might fit because it is a heavier barrel.  They did not have the katahdin forend in stock.  I am debating whether to get the 12 gauge forend and get new screws/washer or to order the katahdin forend.  I thought that someone here might be able to throw some light on the subject.

If Coyote didn't or couldn't tell you what fits their barrels they don't deserve the praise they get from a few folks out here.  I would give them a call and ask them.

I already sent Paul an email.  He has always been very helpful with any questions that I have had. But He is on vacation until the end of next week.  I am just overly anxious to shoot it.  Part of the problem is that there is not as many prohunter forends out there.  I ended up using the 12 guage forend with the screws from another forend that I had.   It worked perfect.  When we tried it in the gun shop, we pulled the screws out of different forend than the one that I have and they weren't long enough.  I loaded up some ammo today.  Hopefully we will get some decent weather.
