a couple of handy ideas that I found
« on: May 28, 2007, 04:26:59 PM »
My father in law keeps his bulk 22 ammo in on of these Koolaid or Country Time Lemonade cans which I thought was pretty nifty.  My ammo smells a little grapey, but hasn't corroded or anything.

This brush I found today in the Fabrics/Crafts section at Wal-Mart.  I have been looking for a replacement for the "lens pen" that I bought from somewhere.  The lens pen was a neat idea, but the polishing pad thing was just an accident waiting to happen.

The brush is natural bristles and was only $2.  It has a flat cut to the end of the brush instead of a taper.  It brushed the dust and lint off of my scopes fairly well, if the bristles were a little longer then they would be perfect.

Some good tips.
I'll have to try both.
My kids will like the kool-aid in the house.
I could also use that brush for my laptop.

The new empty plastic "dip" cans are great for 10 spare rounds of 256 win for my M62 Marlin. Quiet for my walk-around uses.
