got a David Clements front sight in the mail to replace the factory front sight on my SBH hunter 44

just looking for guidance on which direction to push it out

very nice looking sight btw, I went with Lloyds rec on the .10 and a tad taller than factory

I have a one ragged hole rear sight blade coming in to try as well

LS & Ccoker, thought the sbh hunter had the push button-slide out front sight?  Pat

If it is the Hunter, depress the holding plunger in the front of the sight base, and pull the sight blade up, from the rear toward the front, to remove it. To insert its replacement, depress the plunger, and insert the sight. Do not try to drive the sight out from side to side, you'll only damage the gun. The roll pin Lloyd refers to is only on some stainless non-Hunter versions.
