Booyah, now that's something I could do. I have a Suzuki Eiger 400 and I can tow a trailer with no problem so dragging chain link fencing should not be too hard on it. Of course right now my area is probably a mud hole.  :) We have been getting some much needed rain.

Elmer, If you are in the Dallas area, you are right about the rain. I am in East Texas and we did not get as much rain as the Dallas area but I was able to duck hunt out of my deer stand this season.  First time I ever seen a squirrel wear a life jacket.

I hunt in the Kerens area. In February and March I was hog hunting out of my deer stand and I had so much water around that I had six ducks swimming around about 20 yards away. They would fly over to the feeder just a few minutes before it would go off and then eat their fill. I guess their lucky it wasn't that wet in December.  :)

Getting back to you late elmer.  I second Booyah's comments.  Something is better than nothing.  I too used to use the Pick Up Truck to pull a piece of chain link fence like Booyah before I purchased equipment.  Worked too when fire, drought, hurricane, flooding, and poachers didn't foil the plan.  If there are deer in your area they will come.  If you fertilize and lime your plot, no matter how small, they will come.  They NEED the nutrients whether we supply them or not.  They get the nutrients in their natural forages where they find them.  If we introduce them into their environment, they will come.

It is REALLY important that there are deer in the neighborhood first however.

WOW, some impressive toys indeed! I would LOVE to have that Rotovator! We don't have a big scale plot program so we just use a JD 1070 4wd tractor with a 2 bottom plow, a bush hog disc, a JD mower and then the cultipacker, the drag, the sprayer and the broadcast seeder are all ATV implements.

An archer tries to see how far away he can get from his target and still connect, a "Bowhunter" tries to see how close he can get to his.
