it is not a likely happening to hang from a limb and chamber a round, don't think soldiers did either- I believe you can short stroke and cause a jamb in a Ruger but you you would be hard pressed to do that on a Mauser. Alot of craftsmenship is in the Mauser and for Ruger to copy that would be difficult to do without be being very expensive ie ..... the slot in the front lug for the ejector/bolt stop, the third safety lug.

All in all one would be had press to look away from a Ruger-take a look at the favoritism and the attention on the new .375 Ruger-they have to be doing something right. I like our conversation(the last samurai).
