Burris Sig Zee Ring Height Question

Typically, what height rings do I need to have to mount a 50mm scope on my Handi.  I think I read the medium's work well on most of the time on 40mm scopes.  I realize eye relief will factor in, but should I try high rings first?  What's my best bet?
