I just got a Topper 58,30/30 from a pawn shop.  I paid $109 for it.  I'm going out to shoot it this weekend.  What is the best ammo to shoot in it?

The cheapest.

A lot of people like the Federal Fusion for their later model Handirifles.  It seems cheap.  For $25 or so you should be able to get two boxes of different weight. 

$109 sounds like a great deal for any rifle.

You might luck out and have one that will shoot the Winchester Power Points pretty good...They have always done good on whitetails...

Thats the same way I got into the H&R/NEF's a used 30-30 topper. Money wise, I should have stopped there . Oh well you can't take it with you. I almost forgot, Welcome aboard!!!!
