Question on Ruger sights...
« on: June 28, 2007, 10:51:42 AM »
Will a set of Mark II adjustable sights fit on a Mark III?

I have the MKIII Hunter with the fiber optic sights that I wish to replace.

I found a used set but wanted to make sure they fit.

Thanks.

i don't know the answer to your question but noticed how everyone was too tied up to respond.
One could look up the manufacturer of your sight (Williams etc.) and see if they list the same number sight for either model.
Hope this helps, I am a Williams Fire Sight fan.
Best wishes

I don't have a Mark III but just looked it up for you on Ruger's website and the adjustable target sight has the exact same part number for the MKII and MKIII.  Therefore one would assume they are interchangeable.
