Dan Wesson elevation screw?

I have the option to buy a Dan wesson model w/ a 4" barrel. The seller says that the sight elevation screw is cracked but will still function. Can I get a new screw? Do you think this is a big problem? The price is right too at around $220.

You can easily get a new screw from the factory (see contact thread for info). My question would be what does it mean by cracked is it broke off in the frame? and would that mean that you need gunsmithing help to get it out. The price sound very fair if all you have to do is replace the screw.
