I was just wondering if anybody has ever ordered an encore from buds gun shop online. I was thinking about ordering an encore from them they sell encores and encore frames for around $200-$300 less than any stores around here.

I haven't, but I was gonna order a forend from them until I saw how much shipping they charge. :o Check out GBO sponsor Midsouth Shooters Supply, they have pretty good prices on their barrels too, I got a couple PH barrels and a PH stock set from them for less than anyone else. ;)

Try Ed's Contenders. Most every Pro hunter barrel is 285 shipped to your door, tax and shipping included.

It's been a while, but I have purchased from Bud's on a couple of occasions via gunbroker.com and was always pleased with the transaction. Then again, I do enjoy dealing with Ed's. He's a bit hard to get a hold of, but his prices are always terrific.

I just ordered a 280 barrel this week. I call mu orders in by phone. I have never had trouble contacting Ed. Barrels at Cabelas and Midway and Midsouth run from 319-329 plus tax plus shipping. My 280 pro hunter barrel from ed was 285.00 delivered to my door.
Try calling Ed and hr will seen you a complete price list.

Prohunter barrels at Midsouth are $245 blued and $272 SS, their shipping is very reasonable too. ;)

Add tax and shipping to 272 and it's probally only a 20 dollar differance between midsouth and ed's. Both are as cheap as I've seen.

Shipping from Midsouth on their PH barrels to me is <$11. They're both GBO sponsors, so ya can't loose any way you look at it. ;)

Thanks I looked a the prices at midsouth and they were the least expensive I am going to buy a barrel from there.
