460 S&W

Hello,
    Has any one modified the CR-45LC to 460 S&W yet???? I have one on order, an have a ream.. I do reload for it also...
changed a 223 handi to 225 Win a while back, shoots better now...

It's been discussed, but no one has done it yet that's reported here anyway. I've thought about doing mine, but can't really justify it, I already have three 45-70 H&Rs that will do anything it will do with less pressure. I suspect the underlug would shoot loose real quick under the 460S&W, already happens on the 500S&W Handi, so it would happen sooner on a 460. :(

thanks for the  info Tim.
 I will not shoot 460's thru it all the time, just while hunting.   45's for plinking.  don't have a 45-70 so will use the 460 instead.
most of the time will use .454 for medium size game, deer, javelina.. large deer, elk the 460.... I do understand they shoot lose..
so far the 225 win is still tight with a 1000+ rounds thru it...
