Iv'e been helping my hunting pard with working up loads for his 30/06 Handi Synthetic. He has been unhappy with its performance so far. Seems the point of impact rises as the bbl heats up. He has been shooting Rem green box 150gr loads. I have been shooting the Sierra 125 Spitzer in my Mauser '06 for ages. Great deer bullet. Recently I aquired a Swede Mauser and a Rem 721 in 30/06 and the 125 Sierra with H4831 powder has been working well with these two rifles. So I loaded up a few loads with this combo for him. His Handi is transformed! Now its a tackdriver! We went to the range today, however, and his rifle was not doing so well, he was trying 165 and 180gr bullets, and they were all over. He tried the 125gr loads, and much better, but not like before. I asked him when the last time he cleaned the bore? He says I dunno! Cleaned that bore and back to nice round 1in groups......... If you have a '06 Handi, try the 125 Sierra with H4831
