Best traps for rats

What have you found to be the best all around leghold size,make, etc. for muskrat?

My favorite trap for muskrats is the #1 stoploss.I catch many coon and beaver in my rat sets ,so I like the stoploss.
 As far as brand goes, I am switching over to the new Duke #1 stoploss,It has been totally redesigned and is a very sweet looking trap--now I am a bit prejudiced,as I helped them redesign their stoploss trap.  Tom

The stoploss as Bog says is a good trap. I prefer one older trap over it though for strickly muskrat work- plus it doubles very well on mink and coon. That trap is the old #2 double longspring- which in reality is a #1.5 with 2 springs.  These traps bed nice, are very strong, and drown rats and mink quickly.

The 1.5 coil spring is the foothold to use if you have the water to drown.   If not you will have to go with the stoploss.
