My girlfriend was given a walther p22 target with the 5 inch barrel. I have shot the 3 inch versions but not the 5 inch before this one. The issue I'm haveing with the pistol is the slide is not holding open after the last shot which is no big deal to me but one that is bothering me is that the pistol will not fire in double action. When shooting double action or attempting to the hammer always falls to half cock. Also after the hammer has fallen to half cock when you let the trigger start to go back to battery about a third of the way back to full battery it clicks and if the trigger is then pulled back the hammer falls from half cock and rests on the firing pin. Hopefully I've explained this well enough. Any info would be great.
