Hanger Bar?

I know this is old questions and have probably been covered but the search feature does not do anything for me, so bear with me.

I have a 14" barrel on my Contender. It has a hangar bar that attaches to the barrel with two dovetailed screw studs. I just bought a 10" barrel and it has no hanger, and only one dovetail.

Is there a different hangar, or do I just leave out a screw?

Also it had no rear sight on the 10" barrel, is there a good place to get a reasonable priced one?

It uses a different forend.  The standard forends do not use the hangar bar, but pachmayr does on their aftermarket forends, as do many custom forend manufacturers.  Standard forends can be had pretty cheap if you shop, if you don't wnat the hangar bar.

Thanks. It had been so long since I put the pachmayr grip and forearm on there I forgot the hanger bar came with the forearm. I was thinking it came on the barrel.
The Forearm fit right on the 10" barrel with no hanger and I actually hunted down a rear sight that I had removed from some contender in the past.
