Ruger 77 MKII VT in 22-250

I just got a Ruger 77 MKII VT stainless steel heavy barrel with a laminated stock in 22-250. What scope do you guys recommend? I'm going to use it for prairie dogs moistly, but it will also be used for rock chucks and coyotes. I was thinking about a Burris 6.5-20 fullfield II.

because the .22-250 is capable of 400 yd' harvests on varmints i'd consider the scope you've asked about.
that 50 mm objective helps give you a little more detail when dialing-up the power.    that extra detail may help with doping the wind if the 'mirage' is not too much for the higher magnification on a given day.

I have the same Ruger except in .220 Swift, "King of the laser guns" I have a Bushnell 4200 Elite 8-32X40. I bought it from   http://www.theopticzone.com for $439.00 including shipping and had it in 4 days. I sent it to Bushnell to have the reticule changed to Mil-dot which cost $55.00 and had it back in 10 days. Great service. Oh, it is a tack driver.
