Most others are flat or round points! Some people report good results others not so good. Rifle specific! If you have a single shot or bolt you could reload regular spritizers.

 Nobody's

; Hornady's  Flex tip bullets are a completely new idea that hasn't been copied by other manufacturers yet.

I tried them in my 50 year plus mod 94 30-30 and found them less accurate then the federal 150 grain I usually fire. Also, the recoil was punishing.

As much as I love and use Hornady products they are a gimmick, an answer to a nonexistent problem and are just one more way to get folks to part with their hard earned money in this modern world where folks things speed is all that matters.

I'm with greybeard on this one, The ballistic coefficient on the flex tip bullets may be somewhat better than RN bullets, but not enough better to turn a 30-30 into something it's not. Couple that with the WILD velocity overstatement and I think you'll find that your 30-30 is just effective at 200 yds with traditional ammo.
