460 Brass?
« on: July 08, 2007, 05:29:02 AM »
When using my Lee reloader with the sizing die I'm getting scratches or gal marks at the bottom of the brass, tried using Lee sizing lube on the brass. But still getting scuff marks to a degree.
What should I try???  :(

Sounds to me like you have gotten some grit in the die at one time that has put gouges in the die , first thing i would do is clean the die very well with some rubbing alc. to remove any old lube that may be still in the die . then take some fine metal polish on one of the cases and insert in the die then slowly turn the case in the die .

This may take a time or two , but it should smoth out the rough spots .
