i pulled my trusty lee-enfield out of the closet the other day and took it out to the farm to do some shooting. on my 3rd or 4th shot i pulled the trigger but the striker remained in the cocked position. i set it down on the ground, backed away and waited 5 minutes. in didn't fire so i opened it up and removed the unfired cartridge. i unloaded the gun and cycled it a few times and it would do this every few cycles. sometimes when i tried to close it would jam at the ponit where the striker is pushed back, but if i ran the bolt forward with the trigger pulled it would close all the way. has this ever happened to any one and does anyone know whats causeing it?
