I built a 50 cal. Hawken from a kit in 1981 never fired it until yesterday.
if i had any idea how much fun i was missing it would be worn out by now
i am taking it elk hunting in N.M. in Oct.
i shot some Buffalo bullets 245gr w/80 gr 777
shot some t/c 370 gr maxi-balls w/100gr 777
I think i like the Buffalo bullet better because of the dry lube, of course will step up to265-285 for elk
has anyone used the Buffalo dry lube bullets?
what are the adv. or disadv.
