Scope suggestion for a bubba SMLE #1 MKIII*?

I've got a pretty nice condition SMLE (1918 RSAF manufacture), it's bubba'd,  I wanted to get a scope on it, I ordered one of the ATI bases which was a dissapointment,   so I did some research and concluded the S&K instamount is the way to go, otherwise I would probably get the Weaver kit but I don't want to mangle the receiver. What would you suggest for a good scope for her? I don't mind spending the # on it as you only live once and a good quality rifle like that deserves a good quality rugged scope. fat tony:  I think I scoped my SMLE with one of the Bushnell Banner 1.5-4.5x Dawn to Dusk scopes.  Worked like a charm.  HTH.  Mikey.

I don't have a No 1, but I have a No 4 with a Banner 3X9X40 using the old Weaver TO mount.  I'm very satisfied with the combo.
