The OWC is fairly accurate out to 100 yards, but is designed primarily to allow supersonic velocity with decent accuracy and an almost full diameter meplat. In other words, it's a maximum kill power bullet at minimum recoil. 4 inch accuracy will be tops with this bullet at 100 yards. As with full wadcutters, but slightly less so, the extremely wide meplat is a poor flight form.
Best choice for 100 yard shooting, when keeping velocity and recoil down, is our FN in whatever weight you consider adaquate. I would suggest a 160 gr if the 100 yard targets topple easy enough for that weight. This bullet will group at or close to an inch from many revolvers, two inches from MOST revolvers, if the gun is lapped and set up per the recommendations I make, and bullet properly fitted.
