Anybody have one of the new redhawk 4" revolvers?
« on: July 07, 2007, 06:30:40 PM »
I have seen these on the Ruger website and I'm really hoping to see one in a store soon.  A 4" barrel is legal to hunt with in Indiana and I wouldn't mind testing one of these new revolvers out.  I've held the Alaskan series and those fit my hand so well that it was scary, so I'm hoping maybe these new 4" model will be the same since they come with the hogue grips.

Anyway, I was just curious if anyone had one of those.

I just saw one with my own eyes today and held it.  It fits like a glove and it was $650 brand new.  Someday.......

I bought one about 2 months ago. I really like it so far. It fits my hands nicely, it is built like a tank, and the trigger isn't half bad out of the box.

Jaybird,
If you don't mind my asking.....  was yours more of less than the $650 I saw.

I'd love to get one of the new 4" Redhawk revolvers. It seems to be a very practical carry revolver for hunting. The design is well proven and strong. The stainless steel construction is a great choice for a working gun. Now, if Ruger would just consider making one in 45 Colt....
