I've seen 25.06 rimmed and 30.06 rimmed cartridges on a few other sites anyone one know what the parent case is?

I think 30/06 rimmed brass can be made from 400/350NE parent brass ... not 100% sure however.
Cheers...

Try the 30R Blaser. The cases are easier to obtain.

Base is .480 with a .531 rim, OAL of 2.68

Anyone have a couple of either they could spare for experimentation?

Forest, I don't have any, but Huntington's sells single cases of all types. That's where I get my cases for my  "gee what a neat idea" experimentation.

Just as a side note......that Blaser case looks great for making a "Super .35 Whelen", "Super .375 Whelen", or, if opened up, a .400-.416 that's bigger than the .405 Win.
