“Airgun Decision is driving me crazy”

Boy! “A lot has changed from the late 90’s“. Whow!

Well let’s get to the point, the wife and me are looking for adult size Airgun. (I call them air-rifles) Back in the late 90’s I purchased two Shanghai (Industry) B2-1 barrel break and one Hercules (XISICO)  XS B12. I conducted the DIY tunes from the information from the web at the time on all three rifles. As y’all know the B2-1 are not the best for anything by plinking cans and just fun to try your luck at hitting a target. The B12 by XISICO is by far a He!! of a better gun, but it is lacking in power for what I would like to do with it. One thing is it makes an excellent frog hunting air rifle, I have scoped it with a BSA 4X32mm Airgun scope on an BKL mount. She’s a shooter after the DIY tune, but not enough power. Okay back to the crazies of purchasing (or trying to decide) on a New air rifle for the wife and me.  MAN what a lot of changes, you not only have the Chinese ( I guess Crossman-Quest, Benjamin Sheridan-Legacy and Remington-Summit are in this game, No more B18/B19s as I understand it )( The BAM-XISICO are to much now days ), but imports from  Russia, Mexico, Brazil, Turkey and the European Counties.  As I have stated I can do the DIY tunes ( Teardown, remove roughness, slick parts, Molly lube, etc, and little fixes. The question I have is from the list that follows which is going to be the best value for the price.

I think I will continue this post with in the next couple of days on my list on air rifle I’m looking at purchasing, but please let me know with a discussion about the ones I’m looking at for the wife.

Thanks for the reply, I decided on the HW-30, it's not the S model with the Rekord trigger, but I think , I can tune the two-stage trigger myself.
