What ever happened to the .45
« on: July 25, 2007, 02:46:23 AM »
This may not be the place for this but oh well. Does anyone have any theories about why no one produces .45 muzzle loaders any more. With all the better performance bullets and powders it seem to me it would make more sense. I have an older Huntsman in .45 and I wouldn't trade it for anything. I've never found another muzzle loader as light and easy to carry.

The sportsman lives his life vicariously. For he secretly yearns to have lived before, in a simpler time. A time when his love for the land, water, fish and wildlife would be more than just part of his life. It would be his state of mind
