 Political Correctness

I have noticed several mentions of Political Correctness among the comments posted on these pages. The topics being discussed here are under the heading of Western History, and I am assuming that the purpose of speaking of history is to learn from lessons from the past. The premise that we can learn from and gain wisdom from the actions and events that occurred in the past hinges on the fact that the information is recorded correctly and is the truth.

If we concern ourselves with Political Correctness then it is necessary to modify words and take emphasis away form certain true events which may be offensive to certain groups of people.

Simply stated, we can not learn from history unless it is true. It is a total waste of time to teach lies or modified truths. The only purpose served by teaching distorted truths is to indoctrinate our youth and consequently mold generations into pawns of a predetermined agenda or ideology. Political Correctness is nothing more than Marxism translated from economic to cultural terms and teaches, among other fallacies, that all people are entitled to respect without having to earn it.

It would do each history student well to read some text books or other accounts of the past that were published before the 1960’s. Those books were written when Americans enjoyed freedom of speech and before terms like gay rights, sexist, homophobic or racist began to be used to describe anyone who dared not subscribe to rewritten history or use the language of the times.

I recently had a conversation with a gentleman from Australia. I listened to his opinions and comments on several current events. There were a few other Americans that overheard what was said and were shocked at some of the things he said. I, on the other hand was saddened by the fact that, as long as I live in the United States, I’ll never enjoy freedom of speech again.
A great pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do.

Yes the day & age of common sence has gone
It once was one the best features of american speech the direct and liberated approach to in short and succint manner get across what we had to say. Remember the Battle of the Bulge "Nuts!" that was pure American baby!
Lawer speek has ingrained itself into American society like a root of a planters wart, not healthy, painfull, and a handicap to a healthy american life I'd just imagine how John wayne would have handled the bad guy in The man who shot Liberty Valance.
Now day's forked toiunge'd lawer double speak is common (Mr Clinton did you have sexual relations with Ms Lewinski??) we all heard "The answer heard round the world", and we wonder why the muslims have such a dim view of us???
We basickly gave the muslims a blank check book to hate us unconditionally.
How could we NOT ask to get bombed?? after all we are the premere media exporter of our way of life, We mainstreem our bent and oft time immoral views it right into global households wither they agree with us or not, I know I'd most likely resent Muslim ideals harped on my kids thru the media and not a darn thing I could do??
Lets go Bomb The infidels for attacking our very fabric of our society!! they cry! Why Not??.

No this Ole Nebraska Ranch hand doesent have to be slapped in the face with a wet mop ta figger that one!

Ther was a question posed to me once, a co-worker asked If I saw a retard on standing on the street corner, did that retard know he was retarded or was it up to me to go tell him he's retarded, (his reference was, if co-worker was doing somthing wrong I'd let him know)

Well weve been wearing our baggey pants and backwards ball cap's,  Ba-Dunk-A-Dunking our Junk and Playing the Player lifestyle in our Cribs and watching survivor and real life TV, getting our Crunk on, Lifes one big orgey and you have to be part of it to be cool, the media weenies lapping that crap up like manna from heavin, looking to make a buck off the "Cant think for them selves, somthing for nothing, dummie wanna be's, with low self esteems," we in our greed  have crossed global and moral boarders unwittengly/knowingly/billergently/greedily(you pick one thayt best fits) have offended the sweet tea drinking, rug kneeling Muslim world, Muslims have asked nice to change our way's and we ignored them, Muslims have demanded we change and we ignored them, Then they lashed out and we took notice, once we pulled our head out our collective butt's, we got mad because somebody dident like how we did things.........so what did we do?, now we are in a part of the world forceing our way of life on somebody else, I think we will have a long time before we can smooth over this one, Just How politicaly correct is it to force our imorralrality on others and we toss it round carelessly like seeds of an invasive plant .........Hugh?........ just how politicly correct is that?
So if its any consolation do you find the ingrainiation of Political Correctness into Western lore as much a threat as the Muslims take it? We should!........... because if we dont take care of business ourselves we are gonna have more than the TSA digging thru your underwear in the name of national security to worry about.
Cause and Effect it ripples out from the source, we are reaping what we been sowing, you soe weeds you end up with a good crop of bindweed and leafy spurge.

By standing i'dly by and allowing the media skunks and lawers of ill repute to run rampent to grub up a dollar at anyexpence, we are cut adrift without a working moral compass in the meantime we are going to lose our very souls as well as our Western History, not to mention all them really good Olie & Lena Jokes!
