question regarding optima elite stocks

Hi Guys just a quick question. I just repurchased an optima elite 50 cal and 270. I got them scoped up tonight and remember why I traded it off. The stock is too long for me and I really feel I am leaning way forward to shoot it. Can the compact stock be purchased so I can put it on my frame. If so does anyone know where to get one? thank you in advance

Thanks Tim. I read a little further last night and emailed Mark since he seems to be the go to guy. I will also get a hold of Thomas today. I looked on the cva site and all they list are forends not the actual stock. Again thanks for the info

Yeah, I know, no one lists anything but forends, or I would have pointed you to a CVA dealer, they're much less expensive than direct from BPI, Grafs, RRArms, Midway and Buds's are way less expensive on their components. Although Midway does offer the black and RT t-hole stocks as special order.

i don't really know how the stock is put together on these guns but i would cut the stock down that is if the way the stock is made permitts it. or if it dosen't still cut it off and get a slip on pad and put it over the hole it should be fine, i did that to a remington model 700 adl one time for one of my friends son. it worked  great

I got a reply back this morning form Thomas. The stock is available as a part and it is 45 dollars. I will order one when I get home from work. Simple enough. Again Tim thanks for the info

You're welcome, always glad to help. ;) Just a note, the stock bolt is a 6mm socket head, seems to me I was able to use a torx that was closed enough on mine.
