160 & larger bodygrip traps

I understand 160 and larger are forbidden on land. Does Ohio allow traps above the ground on tree limbs or leaning pole sets, or a bucket on a post? These are legal dog proof sets in some states.

Seeing that there seems to be --no other Ohio trappers on here,I think it would be best for you to get a copy of your trapping regulations. They should be available from your department of natural resources,or from those that sell licenses.
Sorry I couldn,t give you an answer on this one.

i do not have many 160's but i do know any body gripping trap with a jaw spread greater than 5 inches has to be in water,  and any BG trap greater than 7" jaw spread has to be totally submerged in water.
