Bluing on Ultra

I have an Ultra Varmint in 243 that's a few years old.  I have noticed that some of the bluing is wearing on the barrel and the receiver.  The gun has not been abused and is well cared for.  Is this normal for H&R Rifles?

not sure about others, but the bluing on my barrel wore off a little too easy compared to the way I've cleaned other barrels.

Start brushing up on your alternative barrel finishing techniques (pun intended).
