I'm fixing to send off a Handi receiver to be fitted, but I was wondering what kind of accuracy you folks are getting with yours. I reload and cast all my loads. Thanks for your input.

Joel
I have one and also got one for my dad, they both shoot tremendous. However, neither of them like cast bullets. Both of them shoot wonderfully with Remington high velocities and with handloads with Hornady xtp's. Good luck, you will love it.

FWIW, I have a 357mag barrel that's been rechambered to Max and then 35 Remington, it shoots cast bullets sub moa, the secret to shooting cast is just choosing bullets that are the right size for the bore.
If it doesn't shoot good as a 357mag, you can always hand ream it to Max, I haven't seen an unhappy Max shooter here yet. Several Postal Matches have been won by Max shooters shooting cast bullets.
Another plus for the 357mag is that the chambers of a lot of them are long enough to shoot 360 Dan Wesson in them for a little more umph.

Joel,
I don't have a 357mag...but I do have a factory 357MAXI!! Its shoots maxis GREAT!! I haven't shot a lot of 357 mags or 38 spls. But they do work and shoot well enough to teach chill-ins the basics of knocking down tin cans!
I find I can load 38Spls with my lead bullets and PB powder cheaper than even 22LR's!! (I refuse to buy those cheap Kmart Walmart, milk carton rem win reject bullets, and everyone should too!!)
