.22 Hornet

Looking at getting a .22 Hornet barrel for my Contender frame.
Is there any point accuracy wise in going longer than 20''

Thanks Bob

If you plan on scoping it, No. If you are going with iron sights then the longer sight radius will make precise aiming easier.

Barrel length, and for the most part barrel weight have nothing to do with accuracy-unless you are shooting open sights.  Velocity is the main reason to go with a longer barrel.  Tom.
