Sights for Rossi model 92 ?

Does anybody make a set of fiber optic sights that will fit a Rossi model 92?

Lots of front sight fiber optic sights will fit. All you need is the height of the front sight that came on it. I personally replaced the rear with a Lyman apeture like the one on my Model 94 Winchester. These work very well with a fiber optic front sight.

Sure, I measured the height of my existing front sight, went to the gun store (Gander Mt. in this case) and bought a Hi-Viz fiber optic front sight the same height, went home drifted the factory out, and pressed the Hi-Viz in. Bought a Lyman aperture rear just like the one that bolts on a Model 94 Winchester. Marked the receiver, drilled and taped it, and mounted the rear sight. I have since replaced the front sight with a white striped post, for more precision.

A few years back I put a Williams Fire Sight on my Trapper and replaced it with the original with a dab of white nail polish.  I found the red sight almost disapperared on me during low light conditions and the white would stand out better in the rear aperature.  Also, I didin't like the rounded front bead as opposed to the flat blade that came with the rifle.  Maybe the green would be better but I'd still have the problem with the rounded bead.

     Did they have the aperture  rear sight at Gander Mountain , too .

     Did they have the aperture  rear sight at Gander Mountain , too .

I didn't ask, I think I ordered it from Brownells. My objective was to have my Winchester Model 94 3030 and my Model 92 equiped exactly the same in the sight dept. so that they would "SITE" the same.
