7x57 A1 made up from parts.
« on: August 10, 2007, 05:37:35 PM »
Here is my 7x57 assembled from from parts. The origional rifle was a 243 1B.

The rifle features a new Alex Henry fore arm, a 1/4 rib with open rear sight,
A new barrel band and frontsight base and a front sight. The stock has a new
Decellerater recoil pad and a touch up refinish.

The 22" barrel is a new take off Ruger barrel I got from Numrich, the rifle tested with 140gr Nosler BT' before  I started work but after the barrel was
fitted. This turned out to be a fine shooting rifle, shooting 3/4" groups with the
first try at 100yrds.

The scope is a 6x HBR Burris with a standard retro fix Plex-reticle.
