I was going to search for topics on this caliber, but I guess it ain't happening. I saw where they shut it off for some reason, and the google option does nothing, gives me one return, and I can't even pick what forum I want to search in.
Anyway, thinking of getting a handi rifle for varmint hunting. What is the consensus on the 22-250 for these rifles? I would really like to have one in the deluxe version (bull barrel, laminate stock) but I don't see it listed on their website.
Or if anyone has a better suggestion. I don't know what prices are for this ammo compared to others and the performance advantage it would give. Just sort of always wanted one is all. Main target will be woodchucks. I was thinking of getting a 243 but keep hearing bad things about cases sticking in the chamber. There is an off chance I might hunt deer with it as well if I ever get the chance to hunt up north ( I live in southern Michigan, no centerfires allowed here).
I have an ultra slug gun in 12 ga and am happy with it, so I am familiar with the line.
