I'd have to say that you're not going to find your decent scope if you limit your self to the under $50 class of scopes. The old adage "you get what you pay for" really comes into play here. A missed shot, broken recticle, fogged up scope, or any other scope failure is not worth ruining my hunting trip just because I tried to save a few bucks on optics. Do Yourself a favor and jump up to the $89 class of scopes for your bottom line, look at a Bushnell Trophy 3X9X40 for that price and you won't be cursing Murphy's law after your muzzleloader misses by a foot to the left and there's no followup shot available as your buck bounces off over the next ridge. Don't waste a deer hunt on a $29 scope. There are several decent, under $100 scopes out there that are a better choice than a BSA, Barksa, Tasco, Simmons, NCStar, et al, especially for a muzzleloader. If you to succomb to the sub$50 Chinese scopes at least carry a screwdriver in your pocket so you can take the scope off in the field and throw it, and continue to hunt the rest of the day with the iron sights.
