Well i finally got my new cva elite and i cant wait to shoot it i recomend everyone stay away from basspro as there service here in ontario ,toronto, is terrible shame on them. Next is im going to try the jim shockey powder is it ok to shoot in 150 gr with a 270 gr power belt bullet or what is the best powder and bullet to reach out to say 200 yrds with tight groups.

Congratulation on your new purchase! I get great groups with 100 grains of Pyrodex Powder RS, 270 grain Power Belt and a 209 WW primer. Several of my friends use the same combination of powder, bullet and the longest one shot kill was 194 yards on a mule deer this year.   ;D

Congrats on the new rifle...

I shoot 110 grains of 777ffg powder in mine and it's awesome...I would have no problems at 200 yards...I would start low and work up slowly you will probably find a good accurate load way before you start running max loads of any powder...http://www.gboreloaded.com/forums/index.php/topic,112267.msg1098347143.html#msg1098347143
