Just taking a second to mention today and remember all those who gave their lives on this day as well as following ones.

They truly were America's Greatest Generation.

They are a tough breed!

My father hit the beach 6/6/44, had been in the Army and living outdoors from 1941 to 1945 and got back to the USA in 1948. Makes you wonder if you could be up to the task. God Bless the Greatest Generation.

Had an uncle that went in on Omaha some time after June 6th.  Also had another uncle (pilot) lost over the Mediterranean Sea July 4th, 44.  Dad was also a pilot during WWII.
