« on: August 14, 2007, 11:39:40 AM »
Anybody ever load 130 grain bullets in a 6.8.
All i have ever seen was for 115 or lighter.
Any suggestions welcome.

I'll be working up some 6.8 loads this weekend.  I plan on trying a couple different 130 gr hornady bullets in addition to some 100 and 110 gr bullets I have from Remington, hornady, and sierra.  It will probably be the middle of next week before I get a chance to shoot them but I'll let you know how it works out.

Yes i have.I have been doing it and have excellent results. You cant crimp them as they are to long, and the grove slips past the end of the cartrige.I know this is a handgun site and iv been doing it in the rifle format.I havent crnoed the loads yet but, they give excellent accery,3/4".Should be a very good load for hunting deer.pan.

I made it out yesterday between rain showers to shoot some of the loads I made up (100-130 grain bullets).  I'll post a range report under a new topic.
