The girlfriend and I were driving home from a Pittsburgh Penguins game a few months back, it was was late, maybe 1 am. As we crested a hill on route 28 we both spotted a large triangular object "hovering" just off the roadway, maybe 40 feet in the air. I pulled the truck off the edge of the road and watched the craft. It had a bright strobing light on each corner and made no noise at all...i got out of the truck to get a better view while the girlfriend began to film it on her cell phone. I'm not ashamed to say the longer we watched the more terrified I got. I'm not one that believes in UFO's, ghosts, bigfoot, etc...That being said this made the hair stand up on the back of my neck....the girlfriend kept yelling "it stopped, it stopped right over us, let's get out of here"...it didnt take much persuasion to get me to get us out of there. I leaped into the truck, slammed it into drive and hauled "butt" out of there. About 1/2 mile down the road i spun the truck around to look back at the UFO...it still seemed to be in the same spot..just hovering...we watched it for roughly 5 minutes.
As my eyes began to adjust i thought I could begin to make out the outline of a tower leading up to the "UFO"...it hit us both at the same time...we'd just spent the last 10 minutes watching some sort of radio tower
It wasnt until the girlfriend played back the video that proved just how certain we were that we were watching a UFO...and just how terrified of the radio tower we had become...i have never felt more stupid...we laughed for a solid 45 minutes.
I really wish i could post the video on here so you all could truly appreciate how real we were convinced this UFO was...however, under the circumstances, there was alot of foul language used...as you can imagine
So I've got to know...tell me I'm not the only one who was convinced they were seeing something "strange or unusual"...that turned out not to be so strange or unusual at all. Guess you've got to be able to laugh at yourself
