minnesota Trappers

I have read that there is a Trappers education course.  Is this mandatory for new trappers.  I bought a license this spring at the fleet store and they said nothing.  I am 40 years out hope this isn't the law.

 Trappers ed, is mandatory.I am not sure of when it went into effect.But I do believe,olde trappers are grandfathered in.

its mandatory if you havent ever purchased a license in Mn prior to the 07 season regardless of age

go to wallmart buy a license all u need is an i d most of the time u dont even need that.
