ruger "hawkeye"?
« on: August 30, 2007, 01:20:43 PM »
I was over talking to my Gun guy today and he showed me a ruger blackhawk in 38-40 with a 10 mm cylinder with it.
he just got it before i got there so he didn't have a price on it yet. Looks like a sweet setup.
any info on this baby would be great

I have a little extra money the wife hasnt found yet, and I think it would be wise to spend it before she did  ;D

thanks

Dave

thats a buckeye a hawkeye was a single shot that looked like a blackhawk that shot 256 mags. Collectors pay big money for them these days.

Yup the Buckeye is a pretty cool six gun. I have the 32mag/32-20 that was converted to a Bisley and it is a real shooter. Wouldn't mind having the twin the 38/40 10mm gun with a Bisley grip frame. If the gun is in good condition get it!
