I read somewhere a while back, that feral pigs are indeed in Ill. That is all I remember. You can google this stuff and get better info btw.

Theres an area in Illinois called the Spoon River Valley. Its in central western Illinois and there is one or two outfits in that area that use to guide for wild hogs. Try googling Spoon River Valley outfitters and see what you get.

there in the Shawnee national forest south of Carbondale  this is old info i have was at one time 15yr ago no lic. was required to hunt then and no bag limit. the DNR was not happy they were there. they thought they were introduced by a group that wanted to stock them .  go to the Ill DNR web site web site. that info will be there some place. i did not know there were hogs in  west ill.  i lived there for a few years.  tons of deer. huge area for goose hunting. 50 to 100 miles south of Peoria.  i have a friend that lives in dongola, ill i will email himif he knows of any hogs in his area.  he won't be on line till sunday.
