Re-case coloring a Ruger.

I've got a Ruger Vaquero with the "case colored" finish, however, it was a pretty crappy job. I talked with someone at Doug Turnbull (Turnbill?), but he was extremely rude, and I don't care to do business with them. Has anyone had their gun refinished in this way? How much did it cost?

I would give Turnbull another chance as he is the best. You may have had a one time bad experience as I know some who have dealt with him and were extremely happy. I had one of his Longhorns for a while and it shore was purty. ;)

No one does case coloring better than Turnbull and no one refinishes Ruger guns cheaper than Ruger does. They will only put it back the way it was but if it came from them with case colors they will do it back that way.
