What Lube, If Any, On 25acp Breech Plug?

I'm wondering if the PR breech plug set up requires any lube before installing to shoot?

I use the Oateys PINK Waterline PTFE teflon tape. One wrap pushed into the threads with a fingernail, then very light coat of grease for lubricity. Never had a stuck plug using this method. You will love that plug, compared to the messy 209's.

I picked up the teflon tape that Busta is talking about from the Home Depot the other day.  Cost was less than $2.00, which is a heckuva savings compared to the T/C breech plug tape which is less than half the amount as the Home Depot brand, and about $6.00 more as well.  HTH.

I use CVA or TC grease on the Breech. If you haven"T used it yet be sure and clean your brass take out the primer and wipe with alcohol or you will have a green mess in about a week

Other than the type used the answer to the question that was asked is: Yes the .25ACP breechplug is just like any other breechplug and does require some type of anti-seize grease or the tefllon tape or both otherwise it will stick and be impossible to remove.
