Nice grips Lloyd.  44 Man did a great set for me also.  Put them on a New Model 4 and 5/8" barreled .45 convertible that had "ivory" grips and special grip frame and sight enhancement according the the dealers write up.  The "ivory" grips were plastic pearlite and the grip frame enhancement was self adhesive no slip traction stuff you put on steps.  The sight treatment was orange glo paint heavily applied to the sights.  My daughter helped with taking some before pictures and I've put about an hour into removing the adhesive and trying to get the paint off the sights.  Got most of the adhesive off and the heaviest paint but still working on them when I can find the time.  I'll get my daughter to take some after pictures and help me figure out how to post them before she leaves for college.
44 man does great work and I hope to have him do some more work for me.

I guess even a dummy can do it on here!. Kennison its the 4 5/8s super that i fitted a aluminum grip frame and ejector housing to. Scalloped the loading gate and recoil shield put a belt mountain sherrifs pin on it. Bowen rear sight clements front sight had the hole thing bead blasted and removed the warning. Buddy did the action and trigger on it. Its also fitted for a 4440 cylinder along with the 44 mag. Id say its one of the most accurate out of the box rugers ive owned buy i end up saying that about all the 44 mag rugers i own. Ruger just gets the 44s right.

I knew that this was the 4-5/8 Super project gun. I believe that this is the first picture of it that shows the results of bead blasting the barrel to match the aluminum grip frame. Great Piece and those grips sure do compliment it...Nice Job!
I was interested in the sights if you remember, did that front post (Clements .010?) require any filing? she looks to be a tall one.

I stole that sight from my accusport and bought another for that one with two gold bars. The sight originaly fit right on the accusport and so did the new one but the super required a little filling on the sight bottom to get it to go flush. The sights also come undrilled and you have to put them in place and drill using the holes in the gun as a guide. AThey come even taller then that one is. I filed quite a bit off that sight but if you know the height you need dave will make them right to size for you.
