« on: July 23, 2004, 06:36:53 PM »
i am shooting 80 grain winchester XP1's out of my vanguard .243. i have it sighted in at one inch high at 50 yards. where does that put me at 100, 200, and 300?
I have it on good authority that the telepromter is writing a stern letter.

Any answer you get with a number in it will be pure guesswork. There is just no way to know what is really going on that far out from a 50 yard sight in. Way too much room for error. You need to shoot it at least at 100 yards and even then it is more theory than fact going by the charts and tables or ballistics programs.
